Chany Ockert, CFRE, specializes in coaching clients in the best practices and lessons across various sub-sectors of nonprofits. As a consequence of working with missions ranging from human services to conservation to arts and culture to animals, she brings the best fund development ideas from each sub-sector to each client. 

She has worked in the nonprofit sector across various fields after graduating in 2000 from Carroll College in Helena, MT, with a Bachelor of Arts degree. She started her practice in 2007. In September 2016 she was awarded the Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) designation. In October 2019, she obtained the Certificate of Nonprofit Board Consulting from BoardSource, the recognized leader in nonprofit Board leadership. In March 2023, she was certified as a Quadrant 3 Leadership Coach. 

She serves as a CASA advocate/volunteer and as a member of the Bigfork Land Use Advisory Committee.  And, she enjoys the beauty of Montana.
